Title: Tear in the Rain
Platform: Altair 8800
Description:

A tribute to actor Rutger Hauer, released on the anniversary of his death
in the form of an Altair 8800 demo titled *Tears in the Rain*. The famous
monologue featured in both the film and the demo was written by Rutger
Hauer himself. The terminal part of the demo was created in Altair Disk
BASIC, while the LED effect at the end was programmed in Intel 8080
assembly. (The demo POKEs into the BASIC and bootloader memory areas and
does not return control to BASIC!) The LED effect is only visible on Altair
simulators that support displaying the processor's intermediate instruction
cycles on the LEDs!

How to run:

   1. Mount the TIR.DSK disk image to Altair.
   2. Enter disk boot loader and boot Disk BASIC. (Included in disk image.)
   3. “MEMORY SIZE?” - Enter
   4. “LINEPRINTER?” - O
   5. “HIGHEST DISK NUMBER?” - 0
   6. “DISK FILES?” - 4
   7. “RANDOM FILES?” - 4
   8. MOUNT
   9. LOAD "rain"
   10. RUN

The demo needs a terminal height of 56 lines and width of >102 chars to
display correctly. :)
