1. Introduction
===============

SalvageNTFS is a set of applications and an associated library aimed at data
recovery from NTFS volumes. It can "undelete" files, bypass file system
permissions, and retrieve information from badly corrupted or inconsistent
volumes.

2. Availability
===============

You can always get the latest release from the SalvageNTFS website, at:

  http://www.salvagentfs.com

3. Acknowledgments
==================

NTFS was designed and created by Microsoft [1]. Also, SalvageNTFS would not
have been possible without the Linux-NTFS project's NTFS documentation [2].
SalvageNTFS was written by Will Glynn (delta407).

4. Contact Information
======================

The SalvageNTFS project is led by Will Glynn, and since he is currently alone
on the project, direct e-mail is the recommended means of getting support.

  delta407@users.sourceforge.net

Additionally, www.salvagentfs.com is intended to become a support center in
the near future. This should be in place (in some form, at least) by the first
binary release.
